South-London born, Atlanta-based Puma Blue – the aliasof Jacob Allen – has today released a surprise album,antichamber which is available now via Blue Flowers.

Alongside sharing the 13-track body of work, whichfollows Januarys single, tapestry supported atStereogum, Paste Magazine, Northern Transmissions, TheLine of Best Fit, CLASH and more Allen has announced 3intimate headline shows for May in New York, LosAngeles and Atlanta (dates below). Tickets for all showsare on sale this Friday, February 21 at 10 AM local time.

antichamber marks a sonic shift for Puma Blue with Allenwriting away from the full band setup focusing onobscure electronic textures and acoustic instrumentation.Whereas Puma Blues previous material has honed in onthe centre point between trip-hop, Jazz and electronica,antichamber demonstrates a raw and direct approach tosongwriting. Its vulnerable and crushingly beautiful withvocals and guitar being the sole components, at timesdelivering dense narratives (tapestry, hotel room)and at others the simplest sentiment (in the absence ofyou).
