The Waterboys were formed in London in 1981 and led by the singer/songwriter Mike Scott, the group’s only constant member – with thesupporting musicians ever changing around him1988’s Fisherman’s Blues is the Waterboys’s 4th album, for whichthe band werejoined by traditional Irish players over a 3 year period, recording a mix of Irish trad,
country, Soul and Rock, resulting in a stripped- down, folky sound which was amarked step away from the “big music” he founded and pursued in previousalbums.

It has been called their ‘warmest and most rewarding record’.The album has cut at half-speed by Barry Grint at AIR Studios, London.Format: Limited Edition 1LP 180gm Yellow Vinyl, poly inners, insert and OBI.
