Pianist Junior Mance, a veteran of albums and dates with Dinah Washington and Cannonball Adderley, was offered his own recording date by Norman Granz during a session with Dizzy Gillespie. The result is this 1959 debut album, a bluesy and swinging date with Gillespies drummer Lex Humphries and bassist Ray Brown. Highlights include the original Jubilation and Cole Porters Love For Sale.
