Lambchop albums come and Lambchop albums go – sometimes you barely notice they are even there but perseverance is the key and albums like their 2012 effort ‘Mr M’ continue to bear fruit long after release. Leader Kurt Wagner increasingly resembles that unpredictable eccentric neighbour – sometimes angry, often melancholy as he winds his away amongst the soft country and lounge stylings of his band who often appear to be playing their instruments with feathers.
