Kiss use Creatures Of The Night to move away from pop experiments and back toward a heavier hard rock attack, with Eric Carr’s drums, Paul Stanley’s leads, and Gene Simmons’ writing giving the album a louder edge. The record centers on big choruses, darker titles, and arena-scale riffs rather than the theatrical detours of the previous era. This 180g audiophile black vinyl record was released to coincide with the band’s 40th Anniversary and uses a high-definition 192kHz/24-bit remaster.
