YUNGBLUD extends the Idols project with a seven-song companion EP built from new material, a Smashing Pumpkins-assisted version of “Zombie,” and cover artwork specific to this clear vinyl record edition. Idols II connects back to the album while giving these songs their own tracklist, running from the anxious plea of “I Need You (To Make The World Seem Fine)” to the closing “Suburban Requiem” on Side B, with five other cuts between them.

“I Need You (To Make The World Seem Fine)” opens the EP with a title that frames the song around dependence and urgency, while “The Postman” moves into a more character-based entry point. “Zombie” appears here in a reimagined version featuring The Smashing Pumpkins, making it the main collaboration on the release. “Time” sits at the end of Side A, while “War Pt. II,” “Blueberry Hill,” and “Suburban Requiem” complete Side B with titles that continue the Idols theme of conflict, memory, and survival.

The EP works as the second chapter of Idols, using seven tracks and a 25.5-minute runtime to continue YUNGBLUD’s album concept in a shorter form. Its Side A and Side B layout separates the opening run from the final stretch, while the clear vinyl record pressing is listed with new cover artwork.
