Megan Moroney was born in Savannah, Georgia but spent most of her life in the Atlanta metro area in the town of Douglasville. She also attended the University of Georgia which has influenced her songwriting in-part.

The Cloud 9 Tour sold over 450,000 US tickets, proving Moroney’s rapid ascent from debut artist to arena headliner.
