Originally released in January 1976, We Sold Our Soul for Rock ‘N’ Roll is Black Sabbath’s first compilation album, drawing heavily from the band’s first four albums during the Ozzy Osbourne era. The Rocktober 2025 limited edition on translucent green 180-gram vinyl celebrates the band that defined heavy metal. Compiled without the band’s awareness by their previous manager, Patrick Meehan, the double LP nevertheless captures Black Sabbath at their most powerful and influential, assembling tracks that would become the blueprint for generations of metal bands to follow.
