Recorded at Van Gelder Studio in 1963 with Stanley Turrentine on tenor sax, Major Holley Jr. on bass, Bill English on drums, and Ray Barretto on congas, this Blue Note classic returns as an Indie Exclusive blue vinyl pressing that highlights the album’s smoky atmosphere and unhurried swing.

Burrell leans into tone and touch, shaping blues forms into urbane soul jazz.
