This limited violet vinyl record edition is the Start Your Ear Off Right indie exclusive pressing.

“Little Bit O’ Soul” opens with a sneering rush, while “Outsider” and “What’d Ya Do?” keep the first side moving with the band’s usual blunt-force momentum. “Psycho Therapy” is one of the album’s most immediate punches, and their take on “Time Has Come Today” stretches the record into darker, heavier territory than the early LPs usually allowed. “In the Park,” “My-My Kind of a Girl,” and “Everytime I Eat Vegetables It Makes Me Think of You” keep the set weird, fast, and unmistakably Ramones from start to finish.

Subterranean Jungle does not feel as all-killer as the first three Ramones albums, but that is part of what gives it its own identity in the catalog.
