Courtney Barnett announces her fourth studio album “Creature Of Habit” on Tue 20th Jan, alongside the release of a new single ‘Site Unseenfeaturing Waxahatchee. Released via Fiction Records for the World excl. the Americas. ‘Site Unseen’ follows the release of single ‘Stay In Your Lane. Barnett will also embark on aNorth American tour supporting Creature of Habit, set to kick off in May.
Creature of Habit marks a decisive new chapter in Courtney Barnetts musical evolution. Its a bold, emotionally resonant record that explores thecentral question: how to get out of your own way so you can truly feel your life. Written in the wake of a relocation from Australia to Los Angeles andthe closure of her long-running label Milk! Records, Barnett was grappling with changes that put the future of both her life and career in question.
Rather than internalizing those feelings, she decided to bring all this swirling confusion directly into the recording process.
