Your Favorite Toy, Foo Fighters’ twelfth studio album, arrives April 24, 2026 on RCA Records under exclusive license from Dave Grohl’s own Roswell Records. Released as an Indie Exclusive on red opaque vinyl, the ten-track record runs just over 36 minutes and comes packaged in a single pocket jacket with a printed inner sleeve, an obi band, and a 24×24 inch poster. The album carries an explicit content advisory.

“Caught in the Echo,” one of two pre-release singles, opens the record with a guitar-forward, hard-rocking arrangement that sets the album’s tone immediately. The title track “Your Favorite Toy,” the second single, follows with a direct, riff-driven structure at just under three minutes. “Asking for a Friend” closes the record at 4:29, the album’s longest track. The remaining seven tracks keep a similar energy throughout.

Pressed on opaque red vinyl, Your Favorite Toy is the first Foo Fighters album recorded with drummer Ilan Rubin, who joined in 2025 following the tenure of Josh Freese, himself a replacement for Taylor Hawkins after his passing in March 2022. The current lineup of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Pat Smear, Chris Shiflett, Rami Jaffee, and Rubin recorded the ten guitar-driven tracks largely in a small studio above Grohl’s garage, with punk and hardcore records from the 1980s cited as primary influences during the sessions.
