Thierry Wolf and Frdric Lai (son of the composer) selectedaround ten DJs, including several iconic figures of the FrenchTouch movement who have left their mark on legendarycollections such as Htel Costes.

These artists, known for their creativity and expertise, havebeen entrusted with the task of breathing new life into the worksof Francis Lai by reinterpreting some of his most emblematiccompositions.

The DJs, free to choose the tracks they wish to revisit, oftensurprise by selecting lesser-known pieces by Francis Lai -choices that are often deeply personal. For instance, Play Paul(Paul de Homem-Christo), a well-known name in the electronicmusic scene and younger brother of Daft Punks Guy-Manuel,chose Robert & Robert because it was the last piece of musiche listened to with their father before his passing. Similarly,Philippe Cohen Solal of Gotan Project, who has a deepemotional connection to LAmour est bien plus fort que nous,chose the title of that song as the epitaph on his parentsgravestone.

Whether tied to touching memories or joyful moments, all theDJs share a common passion: reimagining the music of FrancisLai and giving it a new life, while passing it on to futuregenerations.
