Bring It On is the debut album by English indierock band Gomez, first released on 13th April1998.
Recording sessions for the album began in late1997, during which time Gomez also toured theUnited Kingdom with Embrace.
The first single, 78 Stone Wobble, was releasedin March 1998, while Get Myself Arrested andWhippin Piccadilly were later released as singles.
Bring It On experienced a boost in popularitywhen it won the 1998 Mercury Music Prize,beating such favourites as Massive AttacksMezzanine and The Verves Urban Hymns.
Gomez later toured the United States as thesupport artist for Eagle-Eye Cherry.
This repress uses 2018 remastered audio and ispressed on red transparent vinyl.
