Putting his acoustic roots aside, he combined the grim and the beautiful in intriguing compositions that some orthodox songwriters might frown upon – yet the songs still manage to convey the simplest of emotions in a non-contrived and captivating manner. “The Provider” was released on Coldair’s indie record label, Twelves Records.
